Thanks, Annette, but I'm afraid your post shows it doesn't work. I opened your message and the clipboard text came up. I tried to refresh with insert-escape, but the clipboard didn't go away. I had to do the alt-enter dos- à-dos again.
Any other thoughts? This is very distracting. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Annette Carr Sent: Thursday, January 12, 2017 8:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Clipboard text keeps interfering with JAWS I wonder if refreshing the screen with Insert+Escape will help. Say I open an email and set it up for reply, I leave the message, return to the edit field, and all JAWS will do is read the clipboard. The workaround is to alt-enter out of the email and alt-enter back in, although who knows why that works. However, it's a nuisance, and it happens in other contexts as well, interfering with my work. This afternoon I did a JAWS repair, but it made no difference. I've unchecked every item in the Office clipboard dialog. Again, no difference. Any ideas?
