Thanks, David. I found the same area in Outlook 2010, which I should have mentioned I'm using. I'd already unchecked every item in that list, and I just now went back in to double-check. - Turn the Microsoft Office 2016 or 2013 clipboard features on or off using these easy steps. In Excel, Word or Powerpoint, select the "Home" tab. Select the arrow next to "Office Clipboard". Select "Options" at the bottom-left of the window. Say I open an email and set it up for reply, I leave the message, return to the edit field, and all JAWS will do is read the clipboard. The workaround is to alt-enter out of the email and alt-enter back in, although who knows why that works. However, it's a nuisance, and it happens in other contexts as well, interfering with my work. This afternoon I did a JAWS repair, but it made no difference. I've unchecked every item in the Office clipboard dialog. Again, no difference. Any ideas?
