Hi Al, Thanks for your comments, I just think that detailed posts help to avoid confusion, and besides, we're dealing with an important piece of software that we require in order to use our computers, and I wouldn't want someone's computer to go haywire because of a suggestion I made.
Having said that, it was a coincidence that someone on the list went through something I had encountered just a few days ago. In any case, to answer your question, I always recommend backing up your Jaws "Settings/Enu" folder onto a disk, whether it be a mini-Cd or full size CD, it wouldn't help. I do believe that the "ENU" folders are getting bigger, because when I was using 4.5, the "ENU folder was barely a megabyte in size, now they seem to be growing to just over 3 megabytes in size. I guess it just goes to show you that Jaws is becomeing more and more mainstream and more popular, oh, and this also means Freedom Scientific won't be coming off of that very high pedestal anytime soon...LOL Anyway, after you've copied your "ENU" folder and assuming you're using the same version of Jaws on both computers, just copy over all the files to the other computer and say yes to all to replacing existing files. Once that's done, it might be a good idea to be safer than sorry by going into your script manager and re-compiling the scripts, this will make sure that the switch has taken effect without any possible problems. Hope this helps you. Oh, and by the way, I used to know where Freedom Scientific kept their "ENU" folder, but somehow, I keep forgetting, so maybe someone else on the list can help you with this, and help me in the process, as I'll finally have it in a form I can't delete.
