I unchecked both and now am, at least, getting the "from" line to speak as I scroll through messages. All the others on that list are checked but I have no idea what they mean so am leaving them alone. On the columns under the view menu, I am setting picls to 350. But then I check theok only to find that the picls number has slipped to its previous number. I do not know what the reset line means. Do I do that after I change the picl number or what? Marilyn
