I'm not exactly sure about what you are trying to do in Excel. So to start with, here are 2 commands that might help you out. One is for inserting the date into a cell, and the other is for entering the time. Insert the date, use control plus semicolon Insert the time, use Control plus shift plus semicolon If this is not what you are looking for, please provide me with more details, and I'll see if I can help.
