On the other hand, if you are neurotic about keeping your computer clean, stay on top of spyware, go through your system services and turn off a bunch of stuff, make damn sure nothing is running that shouldn't be running at startup, and run an external synth, you can do just fine with JAWS on an old beat up 800 megahertz processor with 384 meg of RAM, which is what I have at home. I typically have JAWS running, Internet Explorer, and two sessions to UNIX machines up at the same time.
