Hi Joe,

I think what you are referring to is in your Internet Options, not with 
Outlook Express Option.

Have a look in there, particularly in the advanced tab and see if the 
problem is in there.

The second option I have for you is in your modem options.

I'm assuming that you are using a dial-up connection, if you are asking 
about hanging up the connection or disconnecting.

If this isn't the case, let me know.
