Joe, In Internet explorer unter tools/options alt T, O do control tab to connections page the second item is dial up connections its a tree view so up/down arrow to the choice you need and then tab to apply or whatever other boxs this might require then to ok. This should get you back on track. The same thing is located in the control panel as well as modoms/network wizards if you don't find it in IE to solve your problems. That sounds like back when I had a dial up I would always get that same screen to log off but once you restarted your computer and had to relog on once you opened IE don't you get the same screen?
