If you are able to do that, then yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.

If you do this, then your server knows that you want to read messages from 
these people, so it shouldn't put them in any bulk folders or spam folders 
until you've had a chance to review them and decide if they are spam or not.

Either way, if you are adding this person to your address book, then that 
means you want messages from that person and it isn't spam.

That's why you'll see a great deal of newsletters that come over the 
internet telling you to add a particular e-mail address to your address book 
so the newsletter doesn't end up in your bulk mail folder.
