Hey Margaret, I had my husband fix the time, so you need some one with eyes. Go up to the menu bar and put the mouse on recieved and and drag to the right and that will fix the problem. Patti, In Outlook Express, columns is in the view menu. I believe the best fit that was mentioned is an Outlook feature and does not appear in Outlook Express. If this is set for example on the subject column then the computer will change the width of the subject Colum based on the longest subject line. This is OK except that if your date field is too the right of the subject column then it could be pushed off screen. Hopefully this is enough information for somebody to go find a reasonable solution.
