Hi Mich, What Annette failed to mention is that you have to do these things that she suggested, then when you're done, you press alt+T and arrow up to Folder Options. Once the dialog box is open, control tab to the view tab, and you'll land on a button that says make all folder views like the current folder. Press the space bar, and you'll receive a confirmation message that says your folders will be changed to resemble the current folder's view settings. Changes will take effect the next time you open them. That should make the change permanent. If it doesn't, than you either have a virus, or spyware that you may want to get rid of.
