and I don't really understand why that is. The technology is out there.
People use PDA's all the time, and there's a handwriting window on a lot of
them, and the program translates the handwriting in to text, so technically
if a program like that can translate handwriting, then they should be able
to encorperate it in to a scanning software package.

Nothing in the world at this time will read anything written by hand other
than a person.

One question
Will Jaws read hand writing mail.
I have a printer that is 3 in 1.
It is a printer, copier, and scanner.
I would like to read my own mail some times.
Can you tell me how to do that.

Hey Guys,

I have heard several of you in the past talk about reading your snail mail
with JAWS. I finally
figured out how to do it. All I have to do is scan a letter of whatever
piece of mail that I am
reading into a Microsoft Word Document. Once I have it in a Word Document,
JAWS reads it just fine.
This has really opened up many new possibilities for me. Thanks to all of
you for all the help and
advice that you have given to me concerning this topic.

See ya,
Scooter
