Thanks for this, which is better than my suggestion, of course. So many programs, so many hot keys to try to remember. Win'amp menus aren't particularly friendly with hotkey information.

To do this, do the following: 1. When you reach a point in the file that you want to stop at then return to it later, press the letter M, in which case, a dialog box will appear asking you to name the place marker. (I usually never enter a name, and just hit enter, and the feature defaults to the name of place marker number 1, 2, 3, etc. relative to the number of placemarkers you have put in the file) 2. to go back to the placemarker, re-open the file or track, if you are playing from a playlist, and hit the key combination of alt+shift+m. This will open the placemarker dialog box with a list of the placemarkers on the current track. 3. Arrow down to the placemarker you want to return to, and press enter. WinAmp should take you directly to the place where you left off. A couple of notes... 1. This works for each individual track, not for a playlist. Although you can do this with a track in a playlist, the placemarker features starts over with each individual track in the playlist, in other words, names the placemarker as number 1, even though you are setting placemarker number 10. The reason it is doing this, is because you have started a new track, so you will have to advance to the track that you left off at, then do the hotkey mentioned above to get to your hotkey. 2. When you move a file, even though you have set placemarkers, it does not save the placemarkers with the move, so if you move a file, don't expect to use the placemarkers you set before the move. This is a glitch with WinAmp, so don't shoot the messenger. Hope this helps.
