But that did not answer the question. The question I had was can you runjbase 5 on Win 7 if the win 7 is the 32 bit version of win 7 NOT the 64bit version of win 7.

You can't run jBASE 3 on Windows 64bit cos it was build on a 32bitplatform. jBASE 5 is built on 64bit platforms. jBASE telnetd is a32bit app but is it was built on a 64bit system, which is the only wayWindows 64bit can know how to install and run it. This is evidenced bythe way telnetd is registered in the Windows registry, i.e.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\JAC\jBASE TelnetdServer\CurrentVersion\...


The important element is the 'Wow6432Node'.
