Windows Server 2008 is the proper OS for jBase 5 (if you have to run on Windows), but I guess it will run in the business editions of Windows 7 (though there is still a 10 user limit I think)

I've not played too much with v5, but the world is going 64 bit and I can't see the value of migrating to v4 of jBASE - you might as well stay on 3.4 for 32 bit...

Just my thoughts...

Simon

Just as an aside to this, I attempted to install 4.x on my 64 bit system. Its Windows 7, HOME PREMIUM. I discovered that this system does not have the "users and groups" under computer management, because MS didn't think anybody with a home version would need it. What does the group recomend as an OS today?
