Simon: Thank-you for your thoughts.  I too, would much rather stay with 3.x as 
this is what "I grew up with", but apparently one cannot purchase licenses for 
this version any-more.  3.x runs on xp-pro just fine for me, and perhaps I 
might yet be able to license this version.  I think I will put in another 
request.  After all, its just a number in return for cash, right?  I don't see 
any reason for Jbase company to worry about supporting it.
That way, I can do all my developement on my in-house computer and know
