Or it could be your database system uses some assembly code. Thinks like
comm programs, the old pick word processor, etc used assembly modes. The
abs restore would not recover that. Doing a Verify-system (o) will set
it to the norm BUT that norm may not be correct when you try and run
those programs and the system goes down.

I know, I shouldn't ask this on this group, but thought you might like
to take a trip down memory lane, and besides, I'm too far away for
any-one to hurt me.
I have an installation, that when it boots, come up with several ABS
mis-matches. I thought I could fix this by doing an "abs only"
restore, but it doesn't help. When I first did the virgin install, it
was fine, but after restoring files, this problem showed up. We did a
whole file restore so, I assume that some of this came back off the
tape. Is there any way to fix it ?
