Hi Kelvin,

Did you know that you wan change the strategy's parameters on the fly in the
optimizer dialog?

Try to double clic on the parameters table in the optimizer's dialog. That 
magic ;).

As for strategy editing on the fly, I'm sharing the point of view of Eugene. I
don't think the added value worth the effort. If you really want it, just post a
small-intrusive patch that add an optional feature and I'm sure that it will be
integrated. Maybe the on-the-fly strategies could use BeanShell (a scripting
langage in java for java by java, ok all java ;)):
