Hi guys, what is your recommendation for running the combination of TWS and JBT in a stable way?
Definition of running stable: * in Forward Mode: have an uninterrupted recording * in Trading Mode: proper and fast execution of trades, 100% availability My imagination of a stable setup could be: OS: depends on personal taste I think. Or are there any reasons for a specific OS and the 32/64 bit question? Network setup: direct cable link with the router to the internet, wifi seems to be not stable enough Internet setup: DSL with at least 16.000 bit/s with low latency setup (gamers mode) Location: have you guys experienced differences between the US and Europe or Asia? Memory: at least 2GB Processor: current market model, at least dual core Hard drive: enough free space, at least 35%, regularly defragmentation runs so JBT can write datafiles without delay Running apps: running not to much apps, 30% physical memory should be available to prevent swapping Do you have recommendations for recording data only?
