Furthermore, for order placement, why would you want to use anything other than IB (except for the fact that you might already have someone else)?
I know this is a can of worms question, but I'm curious if there is a better broker for this from the perspective of API quality, execution speed, and price. We aren't interested in a cheaper alternative if it requires taking a step backward in API quality or execution speed. Furthermore, I don't think anyone here places enough orders to even care about commissions below IB's prices.
