yep you are right in regards but to trademarks but that has little to do
with the issues at hand. The argument is wether anyone can collect
arbitrary java components together and call it a "java platform" or if only
sun licensees can do that.
The only platform that has some of the components* that would allow you to
distribute jBoss without violating the GPL is J2EE. Only sun is allowed to
indicate what is J2EE platform (trademark + licensing). What you distribute
is not compatable with J2EE so you can not claim that is your platform. If
J2EE is not your platform then you are violating the GPL.
* you violate the GPL regardless as you use JMX that is not part of any
platform but is a standard extention.
