ok,
I don't want to divert our efforts into jsp + servlet, they are significant
efforts.
But if you want to go ahead and make a container from your work I am no-one
to prevent you.
I would recommend you use your knowledge to help them (tomcat) solve their
speed problems instead.
Also, please bear in mind that appart from the recent outbursts of fanatism
on APL and threats in threads (hey we all go through these phases ;) the
tomcat folks have been rather decent with us... no need to respond to
isolated attacks, even the rabid ones. Let's not let ego dictate what is
good for the free community at large.
Their jsp speed is a serious problem though,
we cannot afford to let this become an issue for us,
