I have played with it some, found it a pain in the ass to use rmid, started
thinking about how I could wrap the JINI stuff from Sun as MBeans to plug
into JBoss.

That is about it though.

Perhaps this is the case for kernels which do not provide a loadable module
to do this, or do not provide loadable module support at all, but I am
mostly sure that RedHat will support this out of the box.

Do you have any reference links to this problem?  I would be interesting in
reading about it.
