Not 100% sure about this... just did a quick yahoo for information and found
this.  I do remember seeing this route somewhere though...

Perhaps vanilla won't work, perhaps it will, not sure at the moment.

To take a vanilla install and make it support multicast would simple,
assuming that someone actually understood how todo that =)  I am sure there
is a HOWTO which explains it in too much detail.

Once we figure out how todo it, we can provide a consise two line run-this
and it will work docs, assuming that it does not just work already.

Or lobby RH to fix it, or implement something based on ip broadcasting, but
I am guessing there is a reason why Jini & JG was based on multicast and not
broadcast.
