I am currently developing a design for our ecommerce project. We want to
use as much of J2EE as possible, so originally we were going to use
apache/tomcat, but then started to look at ehydra because of its perks and
application server functionality, now I found JBOSS. I would like to use
JBOSS for our project, but I am not sure where it fits in relation to
apache/tomcat and/or another application server. Is it a replacement and
provides many of these core services or does it plug into? I guess I am
looking for a servlet/jsp container, ejb container. Can anyone give me some
advice and I will be sure to contribute to the list as I learn more about
JBOSS for others who are new.
