To begin with you would also want to look at the other options. I
cowrote a couple of whitepapers for Sun comparing J2EE/EJB with
MSDNA/COM+. I think you will find them interesting:

Quite the opposite from the ones I've talked to then...

.. which has a couple of quirks on terms of development cycle and
performance. Know about them and it's not much of a problem. Could be a
knowledge problem here.

I need to know exactly what kind of issues they have had in order to
comment on them (Heck, I'm still the "BEA SuperUser of the year" ..
heh.. :-)

Cost is one thing, but that is not why you should be interested in
jBoss. Too many good reasons to mention so I won't :-)
