There does not seem to be Sun JDK 1.3 for Linux.

Linux is not listed there as a target platform.

I dunno (and don't really care for now, I'm not using consciously that
PortableRemoteObject). I just want to make work this
getting started stuff... And that looks more difficult than what the
tutorial says... :(. Of course next step would be tomcat integration,
but this needs to work first.
