Maybe a stupid question, but do you have networking setup on the laptop?

Subject: [jBoss-User] JBoss + Tomcat and Win2k IE5.5

Hi guys,

I know this must be a stupid problem (which night not be a JBoss pb strictly

speaking) with a stupid solution but I cannot face spending time/hours
trying to find out so I hope somebody came accross it before. (too excited
to get JBoss working and play with it)

I am trying to run JBoss+Tomcat on my win 2000 laptop. When I try the
"Tomcat / jBoss example" page at http://localhost:8080/jboss/index.html ,
IE5.5 tells me that it cannot display the page offline and that it has to
connect to a network, which is funny thing to say when connecting to a
localhost. I don't have this problem at work (normal pc with win nt4). Any
idea of where the pb comes from?

Emmanuel
