beta release. CVS is currently
unavailable as the code is being moved to sourceforge.
What problems are you having with the build process? Grabbing the latest cvs snapshot
from http://www.jboss.org/zip_archives/ and running 'build.bat dist' from the
src/build directory runs without any problems on w2k as does 'build.sh dist' on
redhat 7.0

I ran into this too. I've been forced to use the 2.1-beta and tomcat, and have had
limited success with it. I haven't been able to
use the non-beta since it isn't available in binary, the CVS repository has a bad
habit of rejecting valid anon access, and the
build process is far too clumsy for me to take the time to deal with it. (whatever
the hell happened to single distribution and
"configure; make; make install"?! ant is great, but only if there's a real
distribution to work with)
