We are using JBoss 3.0.x during development and in production on a few sites. We have about 5-7 application servers running in a cluster for approx. 20 Swing based WebStart clients per site. The clients communicate with the app-servers using HTTPS tunneled RMI and JBossMQ JMS over UIL2. So far no major problems. We actually switched from WebLogic and are quite happy not only about the fact that we slashed the horrendous licensing costs but also about the excellent support we get from the JBoss Group guys (I am sure the other ones are good too ;). We had a support contract with BEA as we where still using WebLogic and to say the least, it sucked.
