Plus, another [really] minor point - I'd say skip the last paragraph...
they can't expect a response that quickly anyway, and it slightly undermines
the letter's professional tone.

By the way, it could be that they never get back to you, and let it sort of
drop, allowing you to continue to use their name, but still somewhat
protecting their trademark by being able to point to the letter that was
sent.  [the alternative of giving you their blessing could have legal
ramifications, they may be very relucant to do this explicitly]... In some
ways this would be a perfectly good outcome, but in some ways it leaves you
in an awkward postion - I'm curious to know what you would do in this
case..? [I'd say just continue using the name.. :]
