This is a bit of a meta-discussion, but I think it's important.
The words we're arguing over aren't just going to be used on a future
website - they're currently being used in this thread. In my
experience, it's always easier to stop something before it starts than
to wait until it becomes unbearable, then try to turn it around. If you
wait, people are likely to say that nobody ever complained before, and
to resent the attempt to force them to be "politically correct".
Speaking of which, I notice you're still using "legacy protocol", Rachel
