Well if it is an issue then I think we can realistically say that it would be resolved by sending the maintainer of the feature list a note. The list maintainer should be king (or queen) and decide if the feature should be taken off the clients supported feature list.
I think we need a lightweight process as a first step. The compliance issue has been discussed for as long as I can remember (years?). I sincerely doubt anyone is going to create a full fledged compliance infrastructure and maintain it any time soon. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Chris Mullins Sent: Friday, June 18, 2004 3:03 PM To: Jabber software development list Subject: RE: [jdev] Jabber Certification Program Stephen Pendleton Wrote: > The client author(s) would need to submit this information. This could probably be dealt with via policies - if a client is misrepresenting an issue, there should be a pretty clear process for getting it resolved. Unfortunately, this process must assume that the entity in question is actively attempting to misrepresent themselves. -- Chris Mullins _______________________________________________ jdev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://jabberstudio.org/mailman/listinfo/jdev _______________________________________________ jdev mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://jabberstudio.org/mailman/listinfo/jdev
