Why havent you just used the existing standards compliant method of using "jabber:iq:oob" and "jabber:x:oob" ?

Subject: [jdev] Gaim and gnomemeeting using jabber

Hi,

I made a quick hack to be able to use gnomemeeting with gaim, when using
jabber as a protocol. The idea is that I'm cheating ; sending the
presence with a patched gaim gives things like:
<presence from... to...>
<voip-uri>h323:[EMAIL PROTECTED]</voip-uri>
</presence>

Is there some nice and simple way to turn that quick hack to see if it
can work (it does!), to a standard-compliant patch?

JP
