Well, as almost any IM system, Jabber has two nicknames: one controlled by me (in roster) and one controlled by the contact's owner. Imagine that I hadn't renamed it, I use the default one provided by the owner. In this case I wanna track the changes made by him.

Nope, it doesn't.

Not in a room, just in a roster. I can call a form to change my details at any moment, and almost all protocols but the Jabber notify all online users who have me in their rosters about this fact.
