Hi,
Attendees: Michelle Caisse, Michael Bouschen, Craig Russell
Agenda:
1. Typesafe queries for JDOQL - discussion.
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-652
Are persistent interfaces intended to be supported? Michael has found
that the company model causes DataNucleus preprocessor to fail. AI
Michael file a DN JIRA.
I filed a DN JIRA issue:
http://www.datanucleus.org/servlet/jira/browse/NUCJDOQUERY-8
Regards Michael
The DN preprocessor only seems to process classes that have
annotations. Is this the intent? Many JDO classes only have persistent
metadata in the .jdo xml files, and these classes seem to be skipped.
Craig's understanding is that the pre-processor should be able to
process classes even with no annotations at all. The decision as to
which classes to process should be taken by the processor itself, not
the javac that invokes it. But this is just intuition.
2. JDOQL : Bulk Update and Delete Operations
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-617 Some comments have been
made about how to handle life cycle callbacks when instances are
updated or deleted using the query capability.
3. Maven 2 upgrade https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/JDO-647
Michelle is still having trouble running TCK with the new machine
(Windows 7).
4. Other issues
