It just occured to me that none of the three plugins dealing with SFTP, SCP, or
SSH that I am aware of offer file retrieval functionality. These are the three
I am referencing:
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/Publish+Over+SSH+Plugin
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/SSH+plugin
https://wiki.jenkins-ci.org/display/JENKINS/SCP+plugin

My question would be whether or not this functionality should be added to an
existing plugin. In fact, it seems this has already been discussed in relation
to the Publish Over SSH plugin:
https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-16035

I am not saying that it should, just that it is worth discussing.

Thank You,

John Tatum

Subject: [Request hosting new plugin] sftp-get-ssh-plugin

Hello,
I am requesting to host a new plugin.

The URL to your finished plugin repository on GitHub
https://github.com/fbelzunc/sftp-get-ssh-plugin

The name the repository should have (if it doesn't already have a clear name),
e.g. "snapchat-notification-plugin"
sftp-get-ssh-plugin

Your personal GitHub ID, if different from the name in the repo URL (GitHub
organisation IDs are not supported)
fbelzunc
Your jenkins-ci.org user name, so we can make you the default assignee for the
JIRA issue tracker component for your plugin
fbelzunc
A description of what the plugin does, and what makes it different from other
similar plugins
This plugin allows you to copy a file located on a server into job's
workspaces. Similar to copy-to-slave plugin - indeed I am re-using a class from
there- but with the difference that this one allows you to ssh a server instead
of only using the file storage on the machine where the Jenkins master is
installed. It is also integrated with the credentials plugin.
Regards,Felix Belzunce Arcos
