I have tried it out and it definitely resolves the problem with Jetty
- you can now start the Jetspeed app under Jetty (no problems finding
the TR.properties file) - and its pretty fast too!

I've not noticed any adverse affects - yet  ;-)


As an aside - to get Jetty/Jetspeed to work with IE you also need to
patch Jetty   ;-) 

See the Jetty support mailing list for the fix related to setting the
content type.

It should be in the next release - RC10...
