Do you think it's possible to resolve the LDAP issue quickly ? For me the 1.5.1 makes semse only if it can
be released over the next week (at worst before end of May).

BTW, I've updated my jetspeed repository today and got a TEST FAIL on TestSearch (testSearchJetspeed2 fails).
Do you have any idea why ?

We also need to have a BCEL license shipped with the war for the activation
jar. Also, if possible, we could have the group/role issues resolved with
the LDAP and no security implementations.

Here is an overview of the issue:
-------------------------------------------------------------------- -
Key: JS1-469
Summary: [FIX] TestSearch hangs during build
Type: Bug

Outstanding !

May I propose that we quickly validate that the build works
effectively on most platforms and
have a new jetspeed 1.5.1 release ?

+1 although the current cvs head is labeled 1.6-dev. Is that a problem?

I don't so, we'll just tag with 1.5.1 unless some major features has alredy been committed to the HEAD, but I don't remember having seen something like that.

That should cut down and building questions on the user mailing list and reduce user frustations at having to disable the tests.

While we're doing bug fixing do you think it worthile to modify the
Torque xml files to point to a local
relative DTD rather than the jakarta reference ? It also seems to be
a pretty recurring issue these days.

+1

OK, I'll open the JIRA bug and fix it tomorrow.

I also think we should finish the Jetspeed Plugin
Im using it now on a project, and it works pretty well, but it could
use more documentation and a few bug fixes

For 1.5.1 or 1.6 ?
