Brent, I'm very, very interested in this piece too since my current webApps use and ldap server with tomcat. I was just about to ask the same question.
I'm no ldap guru, though I did write JNDI code for our current ldap system. Anyway, if you need help or a tester or encourager, I'd be glad to contribute with you. You can email directly if you see a place I might help with. And, yeah, if anyone out there has anything, I'd sure appreciate it if you swung it my way too :-) Thanks, Carlos. -----Original Message----- From: Brent Thomas [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, January 11, 2005 11:20 AM To: Jetspeed Dev List Subject: J2 LDAP integration Has anyone attempted implementing Jetspeed 2 with LDAP? I am going to attempt to write the LDAP integration pieces for Jetspeed (users and groups only, not everything), but if anyone has made any efforts in this area or has any suggestions, please let me know. Also, I don't have a lot of experience with LDAP, so if there are any LDAP gurus out there who would be interested in helping make sure my implementation is flexible enough to handle any LDAP/Active Directory configuration that may be required, please let me know. I have not contributed to Jetspeed 2 before, so I'll be looking for some feedback and guidance in the near future, especially regarding how to handle the configuration files and the security model in general.
