I have jetspeed installed with standalone tomcat 3.2.2. (i.e. not
configured
with mod_jk and apache) The server is a Sun box running solaris 2.7.

I have it installed in the webapps directory
$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/jetspeed.
I just took the default installation and put jetspeed.war in webapps.
One thought that may be causing me problems is there was not a
$TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/jetspeed/classes directory so I created one and
put JobSubmit.class in that location. Might that be my problem? Would
I be better off making this into a jar and putting it in jetspeed/lib?
I'll give that a try.

Yep, looks good.

I have entered the action url directly as:
http://myhost:8080/jetspeed/JobSubmit
also.
