Just wanted to post back to the list. Figured out my problem. In the
process I went and grabbed the CVS version 1.3a2. Actually I much
prefer it to the 1.3a1.
For my form action it needed to be action=/jetspeed/portlet/myclass
that works like a charm.
Thanks to those who responded to my questions.
BTW, Mike's response to adding WEB-INF is absolutely correct. My path
was $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/jetspeed/WEB-INF/ ...
