Try using the war file build on 9/21,
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-jetspeed/nightly/2001-09-21/jetspeed-1.3a2-dev-war.zip
If you continue to have errors:
1) Does the Jetspeed welcome page display?
2) Add some detail to "does not work"
3) Any error in jetspeed.log
4) If their is a firewall between your machine and the internet, then I
would expect problem with WebPagePortlets that reference site on the
other side of the firewall. Search www.mail-archive.com for solutions,
they are their.
