I concur, everything seems fine with 1.3a2 9/21 except the Turbine screen in
a portlet returns this error inside the portlet window.

TurbineScreenPortlet: Requested Screen not found: Admin Turbine looked in
the following modules.packages path: [org.apache.jetspeed.modules,
org.apache.turbine.modules]

other than that and the fact that I can't use ant to build the javadocs off
of the source, 1.3a2 9/21 seems very solid. I've been beating on it all day
;)

Try using the war file build on 9/21,
http://jakarta.apache.org/builds/jakarta-jetspeed/nightly/2001-09-21/jetspee
d-1.3a2-dev-war.zip

If you continue to have errors:
1) Does the Jetspeed welcome page display?

2) Add some detail to "does not work"

3) Any error in jetspeed.log

4) If their is a firewall between your machine and the internet, then I
would expect problem with WebPagePortlets that reference site on the
other side of the firewall. Search www.mail-archive.com for solutions,
they are their.
