Anybody know whether it's possible to override the title in <meta-info> for the period of a session? I'd like to, for example, switch between a "New Thingy" portlet title and an "Edit Thingy" portlet title for the portlet, but stay within the same portlet. Possible? How?

See the JavaWeb portlet in portlets.xreg for an example. Use local-portlet.xreg for your portlets. Search the mailing list for the reason http://www.mail-archive.com Also, change to the .xreg files may not be applied immediately, so be patient.
