Ryan, I use eclipse/Sysdeo pluggin with jdk 1.4.1 and hot class reloading. I rarely have to restart.
I have found that tomcat resource reloading can be buggy, even outside of turbine/jetspeed. I have had a couple of very basic Struts apps crap out on me after 3 or 4 reloads with an "out of memory" or "no class def found" exceptions. -scott > -----Original Message----- > From: Ryan Christianson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2003 12:03 PM > To: Jetspeed Users List > Subject: Re: Sessions and Restarting Jetspeed > > To me it seems that when the manager restarts the jetspeed context, some > memory is left tied up somewhere in the jvm.
