I suppose that you wanted to say that "Jetspeed *does* not publish functionality
externally".
By "external" I mean outside the VM that Jetspeed is running in. I must thus
have a look at Turbine's services...

By the way, why does Jetspeed does not reflect the changes in a user profile,
when the changes are done manually (editing the PSML file), until I restart the
server?

Hi Helder,

Please define "external."  Do you mean outside the VM that jetspeed is running
in?  If so, you may want to look into the XML-RPC service in Turbine, EJB's,
RMI, etc.  Currently, Jetspeed does publish functionality externally, though it
would be a nice enhancement.

Now, if you are in the same VM, you can hook directly into the registry service.
