No response to this type of question probably means no, there is not this type of
application available. Having to negatively respond to this type of message generates
unneeded list traffic.

IMOHO, this is a rarity. However, if this could happen now would be the time. We are
in the process of finalizing a 1.5 release and are quite pre-occupied with that. Those
of us working on Jetspeed 2.0/JSR 168 are busy as heck trying to get that ready. And
believe it or not we (jetspeed developers) all have employers/clients that expect us
to work on their projects too, the nerve of some people! ;)

I think I answered/commented on about 4 posts last week, so we are trying. Sorry I
missed yours.

If you feel something is a bug, log it in Bugzilla. It will definitely get attention
and not fall through the cracks.

As for your deployment issues:

This is more than likely a Xerces version conflict. Make sure that Xerces 2.0 jar
shipped with Jetspeed is in your endorsed directory. I don't use Resin so I can't say
for sure if this will solve your problem.

 java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/tools/ant/BuildException is the obvious
problem. However, I have no clue why this would be cause for Jetspeed runtime to fail
as ant is not required for the runtime. It looks to me like a container issue more so
than a Jetspeed. Here again, I do not use Jetty either.

Okay, I do use Tomcat. This stack trace seems eerily short to me. Was there anything
else or is this it? Do the catalina log files say anything else?
