We are still having a communication issue. What I want to do is replace the images/theme of the section in the attached screen shot with my own images/colors, but it appears that it's rendered directly out of dojo and not officially themeable. The blue has to go.
If you go into /desktop/ and choose edit, this section of the page's theme stays the same regardless of what layout theme/portlet theme you choose.
