+1.  If you want to jump on it then I would be all behind it. :)

I guess we could approach what we have done with JServ.  There is a
Win32 installation for that which uses a closed source "snazzy"
installer.  I would be curious what the convention is here.  Do you just
commit the scripts?  This should be part of the dist if people think it
is necessary.
